Grayling Area Snowmobile Trails
One of the largest and most comprehensive groomed snowmobile trail systems in the entire state of Michigan. Hundreds of miles of maintained corridors radiate out from Grayling in every direction — a destination system that draws riders from across the Midwest every winter.
Gaylord Snowmobile Trail System
A 62-mile groomed rail corridor running north from Gaylord all the way to the Straits of Mackinac — one of the most scenic and well-maintained snowmobile routes in the Lower Peninsula. Open December 1 through March 31. Ride to Mackinaw City and back for an unforgettable full-day adventure.
North Central State Trail — Winter Use
The same beloved rail trail that draws cyclists in summer opens up to snowmobiles in winter. Seventy-five miles of flat, groomed corridor stretching all the way to Mackinaw City — a legendary winter ride through the northern Michigan forest with easy access right from the Frederic area.
